Running Exchanges *UPDATED 7/21/10

During the 24+ hour Redrock journey, your Race Vans will no longer be called “the suburban” or “mom’s minivan”. The 12 person relay fleets will be affectionately named “Snow” and “Sun” to embody the snow to sun journey from 10k feet to 3k feet. Van #1 which carries runners 1-6 will be “Snow” and van #2 carrying runners 7-12 will be “Sun”. Here is how the 36 running legs and 5 van exchange locations break down…

RRR Rating System
Our run leg rating scale is based on the following classifications, very easy, easy, medium, hard, and very hard. In determing the rating we factor in elevation gain/loss, overall distance, terrain, and time of day.
Very Easy- Short in length with flat or downhill terrain.
Easy-Shorter in length with minimal elevation gains.
Medium-Mid distance with possible elevation gains.
Hard-Longer distance with possible elevation gains.
Very Hard- Longer distance with definite elevation challenges.
